Portfolio Company Ionate has been selected as one of 10 companies to join the government funded Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult.
As well as being a great validation of Ionate's progress so far this program wil;l give them the opportunity to trial their smart transformer in a real world off shore array. Whether it's in the grid or at points of generation, being able to control and manage power quality is going to be key to adding more renewables to the grid.
